Our Family of Dachshunds

Let us introduce you...

Dachshunds came into our lives in 2007, with Torwood Special Cream (Sky) being our first. She was soon followed by Torwood Guns n Roses (Oriel). Then in 2016 we added Dinkidax Amber Red (Amber) to our family.

When we got our first dachshund we had reservations regarding their small size, but were soon reassured by her fearlessness, joining in with any rough and tumble from our other dogs, Westies and Flat Coat Retrievers.

We now have 6 miniature long haired dachshunds, ranging from 1 to 14 years old, and we are unable to resist admiring their silky coats and liquid eyes.

With great success in the show ring from "Torwood Guns n Roses", "Dinkidax Amber Red at Walnutfarm", and her pups.

All our girls are very loved family pets, and live with us in our home. The puppies are born inside our home, and well socialised with our other dogs prior to leaving us for their new homes.
